Tech Center gets first murals, more student artwork to come

Mineral Daily News-Tribune
Two murals that will be attached to the outside wall at the Mineral County Technical Center were recently delivered to Loretta Mick, Tech Center principal. Mineral County high school art students will be working on the rest of the murals in the fall. Thanks to the financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History and the National Endowment of the Arts, with the approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts, this project is also supported by local donations from Ace Hardware, Keyser Inn, Timbrook Ford, and the Highland Arts Unlimited board members. Pictured is Jill Baldinger (HAU Public Arts Committee chair), Mary Conlon (KHS art teacher), Ms. Mick, and Katrina Westfall (HAU secretary).
