KEYSER - Mineral County has scheduled two fall rabies clinics - one in Keyser and one in Fort Ashby.

West Virginia law requires all dogs and cats six months or older to be vaccinated for rabies every three years.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Sept. 12, 9-11 a.m.: Tractor Supply parking lot in Keyser.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 9-11 a.m.: Mineral County Fairgrounds in Fort Ashby.

Vaccination fee is $8 and pet owners are asked to bring the correct change. No county tags will be sold at that time.

For everyone’s safety, masks are mandatory and social distancing is a must. No mask, no service!

Vaccines will be administered by Dr. Micah Piraino of Country Roads Mobile Veterinary Services, and clinics are under the direction of Mineral County humane officer Melissa Kidwell.
