SHORT GAP - After the top of the first inning Frankfort was down 11-0 but the Lady Falcons flocked together and kept their composure to make an epic comeback beating Hampshire 18-15.

Rachel Noah was a big reason the Falcons were able to score 18 runs as she had a great day at the plate going 4-for-4 with 3 runs and 2 RBI. Trailing 11-0 the Falcons scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and 3 more runs in the bottom of the second inning to bring the score to 12-6.
The third inning Frankfort gained more ground putting 2 runs on the board compared to 1 run by Hampshire but the 4th inning was the big key for the Falcons as they scored a whooping 8 runs. During Frankfort’s at bat in the 4th inning the Falcons scored 3 runs to trim the gap but Hampshire still held a 1 run lead 13-12. Frankfort managed to load the bases and then Kylee McGuire connected with a pitch scoring 3 runs to take their first lead of the game 15-13. Frankfort managed to hold Hampshire to only 2 more runs while adding 3 more to their total to come away with the win. Kaitlyn Crist had 3 hits in 4 at bats with 1 walk and 1 run.
Emily Horn had 1 hit and 4 RBI while her teammate Lauren White had 1 hit, 1 RBI, scoring 5 runs. Kylee McGuire had 1 hit and 2 runs. Jessica Gollehon had 1 hit and scored 1 run. Allison Kenney ended up with 2 RBI and 4 runs. After defeating Fort Hill 9-5 in the following game the Frankfort Falcons now have a 2-3 overall record this season.
