Raymond Carlton Mabin

Keyser - Raymond Carlton Mabin, 80, of Newton Street, Keyser, WV, died Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence.

Born on July 3, 1941 in Aliquippa, PA, he was a son of the late Donald Mabin and Annetta (Balls) Mabin Clark and stepfather, Charlie Clark. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Stacy Mabin.

Mr. Mabin was employed with the former C & P Telephone Company and retired from Verizon Communications. He was a member of the McCoole Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved golfing, playing and watching basketball and football, fishing, reading and preaching The Good News.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Frances Elizabeth (Bruce) Mabin; his five sons, Jeffery Mabin and wife Tamra of Keyser, Robert Mabin and wife Janet of Fayette, Alabama, Randall Lee Mabin of Keyser, Donald Mabin and wife Cathy of Martinsburg, WV and Michael Mabin and wife Zabrina of Keyser; seven grandchildren, Camille Taylor, Robert Mabin, II, Nikki Mabin, Tyesha Twyman, Corey Miller, Darren Niemczewski and Tessa Woods and nine great-grandchildren, Karter and Mila Taylor, Harper and Cameron Mabin, Bellamy, Roman and Adistyn Niemczewski, Isaac Twyman and Aiden Miller. Also surviving is a brother, Adrian Mabin of Bridgewater, PA.

At Mr. Mabin's request, there will be no visitation or services.

The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, WV, is in charge of the arrangements.
