Keyser - Betty Lee Bishop, 94, of S. Water Street, Keyser, WV, died Wednesday evening, November 17, 2021 at the Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser. Born on February 5, 1927 in Lonaconing, MD, she was a daughter of the late George Henry Fresh Metz and Bessie LeeAnn (Clark) Metz. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin K. Bishop; two sons, Melvin K. Bishop, Jr. and Keith L. Bishop and a daughter, Leigh Anne Lewis.bMrs. Bishop was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nancy Hanks Post # 3518, VFW, Keyser.

Surviving are her two grandchildren, Johnie Lewis, Jr. and Trishia L. Mongold and husband Nathan, all of Keyser; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Ann Lewis, Sean T. Rosedale, Piper Mongold and Dessel Mongold and special nieces, Melva Duckworth, Anna "Sissy" Komatz Glenn, Lyanna Smith and Leisa Streets.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Queen's Point Cemetery, Keyser, on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Ed. Davy officiating. The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 to assist in defraying funeral expenses.
