George William Bever

Keyser - George William Bever, 72, of Keyser, West Virginia died on Friday, November 5, 2021 at his residence in Keyser. Born in Keyser, West Virginia July 29, 1949, he was the son of the late George McKinley Bever and Mildred Lee (Bryan) Bever. He is survived by Cheryl R. (Christy) Bever, Hampton, Virginia and his children, Ethan J. Bever, (Colleen), Hampton; Jarrod Bever, Nashville, Tennessee and grandchildren, Kaylen Bever and McKenna Bever, Hampton. He is also survived by his siblings, Ellen L. Eddy, Dillwyn, Virginia; Edward A. Bever (Thelma), Grantsville, Maryland; Marilyn E. Stancill (Roger), Silver Spring, Mary-land; two nieces, Sara Parks, Grantsville, and Alexandra Bever, Arlington, Virginia, nephew, Spencer Stancill, Silver Spring, great nephew, Wyatt Parks, and great niece, Natalie Parks, Grantsville. George was a 1967 graduate of Bruce High School and a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He loved hunting and fishing, was an avid gardener and a gourmet cook. He was loved by many people. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Bever Family Cemetery, Backbone Mountain, Swanton, Maryland.
