Keyser - Doris Grace Franklin Sines, 93, of Keyser, died on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Potomac Valley Hospital.

Born on June 28, 1928 in Black Oak, MD, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Scott and Iva Grace (Kile) Miller. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Loraine C. Sines and first husband, Peter A. Franklin; her brothers, Charles Miller, Arthur Miller, Richard Miller, Claude Miller; a sister, Ina Leatherman and step-son, Donald B. Franklin.

Doris was a devoted homemaker who loved her family and friends. She was a member of the grace United Methodist Church and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Surviving are her daughter, Beverly Thorn and husband Gary of New Creek; her stepchildren, Keith Sines and Diana Dela Mea; two grandchildren, Ryan D. Thorn and Trenton Franklin Thorn and her sisters, Anna Lee Boehmes and Audrey Jean Miller. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the funeral home at 11:00am with the Reverend Lauren A. Godwin officiating. Interment will follow services in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
