Keyser - Edward Lee Hartman, 65, of Keyser, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his residence.

Born on March 7, 1956 in Niceville, FL, he was a son of Odessia R. (Tephabock) Smith and late Edward Hartman.

Edward graduated from Keyser High School and attended Potomac State College. He was a former care giver for the Potomac Center and was a United Methodist by faith. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Odessia Smith and her husband Pete are his brother, Michael E. Smith and wife Lisa M.; nieces, Mickella-Andria A. Westerfield, Adina-Michelle A. Carico and Jemma R. Smith; his nephew, Jaxon E. Smith; his aunt, Nancy Thomas and uncles, Donald Tephabock and wife Rita and Glen Tephabock and wife Bonnie. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephew, Aria J. Westerfield, Nicco J. Westerfield and Arrietty O. Carico.

Friends will be received on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Markwood Funeral home from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00pm with the Reverend Lauren A. Godwin officiating. Interment will be held in Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden.
