KEYSER - The Mineral County Courthouse has extended its hours Friday to help those wishing to early vote.
Early voting normally is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but the polls will now be open until 8 p.m. Friday.
The last chance to early vote is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to county clerk Lauren Ellifritz, permission was given by the state to extend Friday’s hours in order to help ease the burden on Election Day due to a shortage of pollworkers.
