KEYSER - The Highland Arts Unlimited Inc. Community Art Projects Committee announces the completion of two murals in Keyser.
The Twin Mountain Railroad steam engine, painted by Jill Baldinger, covers the waste container at the new Mineral County Historical Society Museum at 253 Carskadon Road. The Twin Mountain Railroad carried apples and peaches on a small grade railroad track from Burlington to Keyser in the early 1900s. More information about the railroad can be found in the museum.
Luke Urice is the artist that created the mural on the front steps wall at the Kirkwood & Rogers Law Building facing Armstrong Street. The design of books includes various legal and historical references.
Highland Arts would like to thank the artists, contributors, Mineral County Historical Society, Tony Rogers and family, and the US  Wind Force Foundation Inc. for making these and other art projects possible.
