BLOOMINGTON - The occupants of a Patterson Avenue home in Bloomington were displaced Saturday when the property was damaged by a flue fire.

BLOOMINGTON - The occupants of a Patterson Avenue home in Bloomington were displaced Saturday when the property was damaged by a flue fire.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire, which occurred shortly after 5 p.m.,  was accidental in nature.
Damage to the home was estimated at $50,000 and loss of contents at $10,000.
The owner/occupant of the home was Greet Gutshell.
The Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department was the primary responder, and had the fire controlled in 15 minutes.
The occupants are being assisted by neighbors.
