he Burlington Volunteer Fire Department will be offering a wide variety of entertainment for the Burlington Volunteer Apple Harvest Festival.

BURLINGTON- The Burlington Volunteer Fire Department will be offering a wide variety of entertainment for the Burlington Volunteer Apple Harvest Festival.
On Friday Oct. 4, they will be having fireworks at dark. Saturday Oct. 5, a living history Civil War skirmish at 2 pm. and at 4 p.m. they will have their annual parade. This year’s parade will have Chico from the television show “Moonshiners” as the Grand Marshall. He will also be back and forth between the  station and the festival grounds through out the weekend.
Sunday Oct. 6, their car show will begin at 9 a.m. and another Civil War skirmish will begin at 1 pm.
All weekend they will have the dining hall set with air conditioning for people to come in and eat or rest. They will be serving up hot dogs, ham sandwiches, chili, and apple pies and dumplings. Chicken dinners  will also be available.
Vendors will be set up outside of the station, making custom made t-shirts on location. They also have several booths on the festival grounds which include a french fry and soda station, ham sandwich and hamburger booth,  and their kielbasa, sloppy joe, and chili trailer. Chicken dinners  will also be available.
They will have their usual dime pitch, and  afire truck bounce house set up for the kids on the festival grounds.
