KEYSER - Among the personnel items on the agenda for Tuesday’s Mineral County Board of Education meeting is the recommendation to transfer long-time Frankfort High School assistant principal Kelly Haines to an administrative position in the central office.
Haines is slated to be recommended for the position of director of curriculum and instruction for secondary and career education, vacated this summer by the resignation of Scott Staley.
The position of director of curriculum and instruction for pre-k, Head Start and elementary is currently Barb Kesner.
The position of assistant director of curriculum and instruction is vacant, with the transfer of Kelli Wilson last month to assistant superintendent. No recommendation for that position was included on the agenda released by the board Thursday, but a recommendation could still be made at the Tuesday meeting with the addition of an addendum to the agenda.
The remainder of the items on the agenda are mostly personnel.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room at the central office and is open to the public.
