The Temptations and The Four Tops come to Richmond, a new Handel opera debuts, Virginia Rep to perform 'The Wiz'
Temptations, Four Tops this summer
RICHMOND — Emmy-award winning group The Temptations will play Richmond with The Four Tops on Thursday, August 22, at the Altria Theater. Tickets start at $49.50 and are on sale now at the Altria Theater box office, by phone at 800-514-3849 and online at etix.com.
For more than fifty years The Temptations have prospered with a series of smash hits and sold-out performances. A component of the original Motown machine, they began in Detroit in the early sixties, but it wasn’t until 1964 that “The Way You Do the things You Do” turned the guys into stars.
“We’re about singing straight-up soul,” says Temptations member Ron Tyson. "It’s a style that will live on forever.”
