KEYSER - Apple Alley Players have announced the cast for their Summer 2018 musical “Footloose.”

KEYSER - Apple Alley Players  have announced the cast for their Summer 2018 musical “Footloose.”
The community theater group will present the popular tale based on the 1980s movie for two weekends this summer in the Keyser High School theater.
Starring as Ren, the city teen who moves to a small community where the local pastor has declared a ban on dancing, will be Jesse Wilson.
Wilson has appeared in several Apple Alley productions, including playing Jesus in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
Another Apple Alley familiar face, Kevin Shreve will portray the Rev. Shaw Moore, the stern religious leader and father who struggles to keep his community on moral ground. Shreve has also appeared in a number of Apple Alley productions, including Huck Finn’s father in “Big River” and Caiphis in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
Melissa Tucker, who is also serving as musical director for the show, will play the Rev. Moore’s wife Vi, and Haley Geiger is their daughter, Ariel.

Portraying townspeople and high school students will be: Denise Adams, Samantha Adams, Erica Bennett, Brittney Burton, Sierra Chaney, Alison Clise, Jace Courrier, Jenny Grove, Krisinda Heavener, Molly Kephart, Cheyenne Kuhrt, Logan Lemonds, Jacob Long, Candace Lowery, Raven Malone, Kaitlin McDonald, Rhiannon Paugh, Chloe Richards, Jonah Reel, Jillian Reel, Claire Reel, Haley Snoberger, Conner Spurling, Maddie Taylor and Hannah Tucker.
Tommy Nester is directing the show, which will be presented Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 27-29 and Aug. 3-5.
