KEYSER - Keyser City Police have been busy recently with a lot of activity.
They have responded to numerous calls, including a domestic situation on Wednesday, May 10, at around 6:25 p.m., on the 300 block of Ward Avenue. The call said there was a domestic issue between family members and upon arrival, officers did an on-scene investigation and arrested 29-year-old Scotland M. Gray Jr. for domestic battery.
Gray was transported to Potomac Highland Regional Jail.
Officers also responded to calls and served a warrant on Monday, May 8. The arrest warrant was served on 44-year-old Kenneth Lee Markle of Keyser at 10:51 a.m.. The warrant was for an incident that took place on March 14, 2017.
Markle was charged with numerous counts of burglary of a dwelling, and numerous counts of unauthorized use of an access device which include debit and credit cards. Markle had 74 transactions on an access device.
Markle was taken into custody and then released when he posted a $15,000 bond.
Also later that day officers responded to a call of an altercation between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend which was involving a2-year-old child on the 500 block of West Piedmont Street.
Upon arrival and an on-scene investigation, officers found that 31-year-old David Richard Grady II of Piedmont had a capias for a failure to appear for an incident in 2013.
He was taken into custody and the released again on bond.
