KEYSER -- The city of Keyser will start its annual fire hydrant flushing beginning April 18. The flushing will begin at approximately 8 a.m. and continue Monday through Wednesday for the next two weeks. Customers may experience low water pressure and dirty water for this period. The schedule for flushing follows:

Monday, April 18 -- The areas affected will be South Main Street from Carskadon Lane north to East Piedmont Street and from Mineral Street east and including all areas across Willow Avenue Bridge.
Tuesday, April 19 -- The Areas affected will be the entire downtown area from East Piedmont Street north and including all the area across the tracks, and from Mineral Street east to Water Street.
Wednesday, April 20 -- The areas affected will be the entire West End from Mineral Street west to Villa Street and from Fort Avenue north to West Piedmont Street, including all the side streets.
Monday, April 25 -- The areas affected will be the entire Potomac State area from Mineral Street west to Parkview Drive and from Fort Avenue south to Chestnut Street, including Hawthorne Heights.
Tuesday, April 26 -- The areas affected will be the entire Potomac Heights area from Mineral Street west to Baltimore Street and from Carskadon Lane north to Richmond Street. We will also be doing the Key Street area from Water Street east to Limestone Road.
Wednesday, April 27 -- The affected areas will be the Airport Addition from Southern Drive north to Airport Street and from Mineral Street west to Liberty Street. We will also be flushing all of Bonnieview.
