CUMBERLAND—The Frankfort Falcons turned in a strong effort Tuesday night, picking up a 61-49 road win over the Bishop Walsh Spartans.
Logan Wolford led FHS with 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Dusty Myers added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Robbie Heltzel scored ten points.
Brian Bills, filling in for the sick James Jones, had four points and 17 rebounds.
Jason Hartman led BW with 13 points.
“Our defense played very well,” said Frankfort head coach Scott Slider. “We worked on rebounding in practice, and it paid off tonight. We rebounded very well.”
Frankfort led 16-12 after the first quarter and stretched their lead to eleven points, 31-20, at intermission.
The Falcons flew to a 17-point lead, 51-34, after three periods.
Frankfort (7-8) hosts Keyser on Saturday night. The Falcons have just one more road game the rest of the season.
