OAKLAND—The Frankfort Falcons scored just 22 points in the first three quarters en route to a 60-42 loss to the Southern Rams in Oakland on Tuesday night.
Logan Wolford led Frankfort with 13 points, while Robbie Heltzel added 11 points.
Dusty Myers pulled down 12 rebounds for the Falcons, who trailed 13-7 after the first quarter, 25-17 at the half, and 39-22 after the third quarter.
“We just didn’t do the job defensively,” said Frankfort head coach Scott Slider.
“[Southern] shot probably 60 or 70 percent from the floor.”
Joe Kisselovich was the high game scorer with 15 points for Southern, while Calvin Hillard and Ethan Brady each scored 13 points.
Frankfort travels to Mountain Ridge on Friday.
The Falcons won the first meeting with the Miners, 59-53, on December 18.
