Keyser combined on nine hits with Brandi Braithwaite getting four RBI's on a pair of
singles as the Golden Tornado defeated Bishop Walsh 11-2.
In a six-run first inning which grew to an eight run lead before the Spartans
managed to score.
Alicia Cuthbertson hit two doubles, a single and drove in a run, and Shannon Paugh
had two RBI's on a double.
The Spartans were led at the plate by Taylor Butts, who had a double, a single and
an RBI. Claire Nolan and Anne Mathews each had a double.
Bishop Walsh scored both of its runs during the fifth inning.
Katelyn Ray had four walks and three strikeouts in the win, while Rochelle Wolfort
finished with two strikeouts and one walk, and four hit-batters.
Keyser (6-11) will take on Frankfort in the Bub Riggleman Memorial Tournament in
Moorefield. Bishop Walsh (3-7) hosts Allegany next.
