KHS bowlers sweep Hampshire, split with Southern

KEYSER—The Keyser girls’ bowling team won both their matches this week, while the boys went 1-1.
Against Hampshire, the boys won, 34-2, behind a 235 game/648 set from Charlie Abernathy and a 203 game from Thayer Smith, and the girls took a 30-6 victory on high games from Sarah Bryan (175) and Jasmine Koech (165).
Against Southern, the girls (9-3) won their match, 28-8, with Bryan (157) and Koech (146) again leading the way.
The boys (7-5) lost 22-14.
Smith (215) and Michael Bane (198) led Keyser.
Keyser faces Frankfort at White Oak Lanes in Cumberland on February 3 at 3:30 p.m.
