KEYSER - On Monday December 4th, the Potomac State mens basketball team halted their 4 game losing skid with an impressive 87-70 victory at home over Anne Arundel Community College.

In the first half of the contest Potomac State started  off somewhat slow on the offensive end scoring 37 points. Anne Arundel kept the game close as they managed to put up 35 points in the first half. The Catamounts exploded for 50 points in the 2nd half and held Anne Arundel to just 35 points. Keon Lewis led the Catamounts with 22 points and 7 steals. Deon Tabb finished with 21 points, Ramone Williams dropped in 16, and Calvin Wilder chipped in 10 points for the Catamounts. Jaron Johnson came up huge on the glass pulling down 13 rebounds for the Catamounts.

On Tuesday night, the Catamounts were able to continue their winning ways in the Lough Gymnasium dismantling Pennsylvania Highlands Community College 98-83.Deon Tabb was the lead dog for the Catamounts scoring 22 points, while Ramone Williams was able to drop in 20 points. Tim Coward had a huge 3rd quarter and finished the game with 15 points. Keon Lewis continued his hot shooting by posting 14 points. Jaron Johnson & Calvin Wilder both finished the game with 10 points. The Catamounts enter the long winter break with a record of 8-6. Potomac State will be back in action on Saturday January 13th against Cecil College. The contest will be played in Keyser with tipoff scheduled for 4:00PM.
