BRIDGEPORT - On Day 2 of the American Legion Baseball State Tournament, Romney Post 91 found a theme song to match their playoff mindset; Stayin Alive by the Bee Gees. You can tell by the way I hit or walk, I'm a baseball man, no time to balk.

Speaking of not balking, John Judy earned the win for Post 91 throwing 6 strikeouts over the course of 8 innings. Judy held South Charleston to 0 runs in 7 out of 8 innings, giving up 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. John Judy did damage at the plate as well with 3 hits and scoring 2 runs.

Romney Post 91 combined for a total of 17 hits as 1B John Ackerman had 3 hits and 1 RBI, 2B Brett Whiteman had 3 hits and scored 2 runs, 3B Brady Whitacre had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Zach Whitacre finished the game with 2 hits.
Wyatt Yates, Blake Wasson, Cam White, and Foster Conis each added a hit for Romney.
