FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Mrs. Margie J. Stonestreet, 72, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.
She was the wife of Brady Stonestreet, her husband of 48 years.
Born Jan. 4, 1938, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Esther Smith.
Mrs. Stonestreet was a cherished member of the Martinsburg Church of the Nazarene. She was a woman of deep faith.
She enjoyed being with her family and she was totally devoted to her grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband Brady, she is survived by her three children, Beverly J. Duffy and husband Art, Candy G. Simms and Barry E. Stonestreet and wife Anne; her six grandchildren, Erin Martorano and husband Vincent, Casey Duffy, Jeanie Stonestreet, Emma Stonestreet, Brian Simms and Michael Simms; brothers, Ervin Smith and Charles Smith; and her sister, Mollie Corbin.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Friday, Aug. 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church of The Nazarene, 12350 Jesse Smith Rd., Mt. Airy, with Pastor Paul Buchanan officiating.
Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV, 25403.
