Larry W. ‘Dusty’ Biser

Varnville, SC. —  Larry Wayne “Dusty” Biser, 48, of Yemassee, died Friday, February 26, 2010.
Dusty was born June 14, 1961 in Newark, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Army and was a employed by Dixie Poly Drum for 24 years. He was an honorary member of the Yemassee Fire Department and was a member of the Brewton Hunting Club. He was an avid sportsman and a beloved member of the community. Recently he had begun to satisfy his quest to travel and to cook. When he identified an interest, he didn't hesitate — he jumped in; and when he loved, he loved with the entire essence of his being. Dusty will be missed by his extended family, Kellie Pringle, Aaron Blake Baldwin, Pete Hamaker, John Arthur, Billy Youmans, Sam Harriott and dear friends.
Surviving are: his mother, Katherin W. Delong; fiancé, Mary Ellen Thompson; children, Brandy Biser of Yemassee, Shanna Biser of Morgantown, WV, Cory Biser of Keyser, WV and Dennis Johnson of Yemassee; sisters, Diana Corbin and Janet Hise; brothers, Charles Biser and Kevin Biser; grandchildren, Jasmine Aleah Baldwin, Simya Zenzell Younger and Dennis Ray Johnson, II. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family, 214 Salkehatchie Road, Yemassee, SC 29945.
Services were held at Brice W Herndon and Son’s Funeral Homes Varnville Hampton Chapel in  Varnville S.C. on Wednesday March 3, 2010.
