KEYSER - Pearl T. Wilt, 85, of Keyser, W.Va., died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, Md.
Born on Jan. 29, 1926, at Berryville, Va., she was a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Pearl T. (Wynes) Wines.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Eugene Wilt, on Jan. 28, 1993; five brothers, Kenneth, William, Dan and Elias Wines and Pete Hagens, and two sisters, Goldie Gray and Elizabeth Wines.
Mrs. Wilt was employed as a house cleaner for many years in the Keyser area and was a homemaker. She formerly attended the Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel in Keyser, but because of her health in later years and the limitations that it placed on her, she enjoyed watching the religious broadcasts on television for her spiritual fulfillment.
Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Jean Robertson of Keyser; two granddaughters, Norma "Punkin" Strother of New Creek, W.Va., and Bobbie Tasker of Keyser; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Shelby Jean Rannells of Keyser and Mayella Sowers of Charles Town, W.Va.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Garlitz officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
