Donna L. Moyer, 81, of Beacon Street, Keyser, WV, died Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home.
Born on July 19, 1927 at Beryl, WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Leona C. (Hartman) Metcalf. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Jack" Metcalf.
Mrs. Moyer was a 1945 graduate of Piedmont High School. She retired as a lab technician with the Westvaco Luke Mill with 16 years of service and was a member of the Keyser Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Ralph W. Moyer, Sr., one son, Ralph W. Moyer, Jr. and wife Lori of Charlotte, NC; three daughters, Becky Viers and husband Harold of Keyser, Cindy Metcalfe and husband Rusty of Finksburg, MD and Cheryl Sauers and husband John of Hanover, PA; eight grandchildren, Danielle Viers, Michelle Cook, Amy Metcalfe, Jesse Metcalfe, John Sauers, Chris Sauers, Brice Sauers and Forrest Sauers and three great-grandchildren, Tori Cook, Alexis Tavon and Kyrsten Sauers.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, August 20 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ernest Lee Poland, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
