Lonnie Robinson, Jr., 88, of Middle River, MD, formerly of McCoole, MD and Keyser, WV, died December 12, 2007.
Born on June 14, 1919 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Clifford Lonnie and Winifred Mae (Yonker) Robinson. He also was preceded in death by his wife Mary K. (Kemphfer) Robinson on February 23, 1999 and by a brother, Homer C. Robinson, who died in infancy.
Mr. Robinson was a 1938 graduate of the former Bruce High School in Westernport, MD. He served in the US Army during World War II and retired from Crown, Cork and Seal Company in Baltimore in 1985.
Surviving are his daughter, Winifred L. Robinson and her partner, Sharon L. Harvey of Middle River; an uncle, Merrill A. Yonker of Bridgewater, NJ; a niece, a nephew and several cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at Queen's Point Cemetery, Keyser, WV, at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, with Rev. James A. McCune officiating.
Interment will follow.
