Linda J. (Major) Dickerson, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Piedmont, West Virginia, departed this life Saturday, June 14,2008 at Cameral West Hospital, Columbus Ohio.
Born January 29, 1955 in Keyser, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Major and Ada (Garland) Major. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rebecca. J. “Becky” Major and Antoinette (Major) Washington.
Linda was a 1975 graduate of Piedmont High School, in Piedmont.
She attended World Harvest Church, in Columbus, Ohio and was employed by the Children's Hospital of Columbus. She is survied by her husband Robert Dickerson, one daughter, Alexis and two sons, Sean and Davian, all of Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are two brothers, James Major and wife Delores of New Creek, West Virginia, and Joey Major of Parkersburg, W.Va. and two special aunts Pearl Kager of College Park, Maryland; one uncle, Charles Leon Garland and wife Sherrie of Keyser; sister-in-law Shirley Williams; nieces Kendra Major, Shanna Washington, and Jailyn Redman; and a host of relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Cook and Sons Funeral Home, 1631 Parson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, June 19, 2008. The viewing will be at 4 p.m. and services will be at 5 p.m.
