Charles E. "Charlie" McGuinness, 59, of Westernport, MD, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at his residence.
Born on April 26, 1952 at Keyser, WV, he was a son of Rosemary (Morgan) McGuinness of Springfield, WV and the late Melvin W. McGuinness.
Mr. McGuinness was formerly employed at Stroehmann Bakery in Cumberland, MD and O'Sullivan Rubber Manufacturing in Winchester, VA. He was a 1970 graduate of Keyser High School and was a member of the Cumberland Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving, in addition to his mother are his daughter, Kimberly S. James and husband Brian of South Bloomfield, OH; two grandsons, Brian James, Jr. and Nathan James; two brothers, Donald W. McGuinness, Sr. and wife Barbara of Stephenson, VA and Allen L. McGuinness and wife LouAnn of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters, Diana R. Hamilton and husband James of Springfield and Sheila M. Murphy of Keyser and a good friend, Brandon Mason of Martinsburg.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with President James Showers presiding.
Interment will be in the Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, WV.
