KEYSER, W.Va. -

Scott Alan Riggleman, 38, of Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008.
Born on April 24, 1970 at Cumberland, MD, he was a son of Earl E. Riggleman, Jr. and Brenda R. “Bunny” (Upperman) Riggleman, both of Keyser.
Mr. Riggleman was employed as a sheet metal worker with Local 100, Sheet Metal Workers Union, Cumberland. Brethren by faith, he was a 1988 graduate of Keyser High School, a graduate of Potomac State College and attended Allegany Community College, Frostburg State University and Shepherd University and was active in the basketball programs at Potomac State, ACC and Frostburg.
Scott was an avid WVU sports fan and enjoyed playing basketball. He loved his dog, Brandy but the love of his life was his daughter, Sydney, who was her Daddy’s “little angel.”  Scott also had a special bond and relationship with all of his nieces and nephews, spending as much quality time as he could with them, as their friend, teacher, mentor and a father figure.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his daughter, Sydney Marie Riggleman of Keyser; three sisters, Tina Marie Crites and husband John of Moorefield, WV, Lisa Louise Sagal and friend Nathan Bennett of Flintstone, MD and Debbie Lynn Hines and husband Chris of Keyser; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Swick, Ashley and Joshua Marple, Jennifer Sagal, Brook and Jasmine Redman and Nate Hines; grand nieces and nephews, Trevor Shoemaker, Remington Gillaspie, Caitlin Ely, McKenna Bowman and Hunter and Matthew Hanlin. Also surviving is a special “brother”, Donnie Marsh of Keyser and a large number of close and dear friends that Scott treasured.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday, July 13 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the family in care of Brenda R. Riggleman, 1555 Terri Street, Apt. 10, Keyser, WV  26726.
