Geneva D. Davis, 73, of Creek Side Drive, Westernport, MD, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at her residence.
 Born on July 12, 1935 at Swanton, MD, she was a daughter of the late George and Juanita (Warnick) Tichinel. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Davis on June 24, 1992; a son, Donald Davis; a grandson, Carl Davis, II; a sister, Naomi Tichinel and a brother, David Tichinel.
 Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God Church.
 Surviving are a daughter, Carol Dawson and husband Mike of Westernport; two sons, Thomas S. Davis and wife Sally of Westernport and Carl W. Davis and wife Becky of New Creek, WV; two brothers, Rev. Darrell Tichinel of Ridgeley, WV and Rev. George Tichinel of Swanton; six sisters, Wanda Barnes of Cross Timbers, MO, Elizabeth Paugh of Swanton, Miriam Murray of Virginia Beach, VA, Louise Conklyn and Doris Skipper, both of Swanton and Ruby Jerrard of Salamanca, NY; nine grandchildren, Amanda and Heather Davis, Michael and Erich Dawson, Nichole Whitfield, Thomas W. Davis, Patrick and Quinn O'Grady and Jami Davis and  12 great-grandchildren.
 Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, July 20 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
 Funeral services will be conducted at the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church, Swanton, MD, on Monday, July 21 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Darrell Tichinel and Rev. George Tichinel officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.
 Interment will be in the Turner Cemetery, Walnut Bottom.
