Harry Edward Ours Sr., 76, of Clarksville, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at Gateway Medical Center.
His remains are to be cremated. No services are planned.
Harry was born Feb. 9, 1935, in Keyser, W.Va., the son of Walter F. and Mildred (Kight) Ours.
He was a retired U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Louise (Eversole) Ours of Clarksville; one son, Harry Ours Jr. and wife Tina of Sevierville, Tenn., and one daughter, Melissa Gafford of Clarksville; two grandsons, Chad and Cody Gafford. He is also survived by four brothers, Walter Ours Jr. and wife Delana of Keyser, John Ours and wife Chris of McCoole, Kenneth Ours and wife Norma Jean of Antioch, and Paul “Richard” Ours and wife Mary of Keyser.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by two brothers, Jim Ours and Wayne Ours; and two sisters, Jean Whisner and Maxine Metz.
