Ivy Kathryn Myers, 93, a resident of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, formerly of 33 "A" Street, Keyser, WV, died Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on August 28, 1914 at Shaw, WV, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Martha Ellen (Bell) White. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Lewis White and three sisters, Viola Liller, Bessie Podelco and Elizabeth Sharpless.
Mrs. Myers was retired from Safeway Foods and Grand Union Grocery Stores in Falls Church, VA with 28 years of service. She was Pentecostal by faith and was a member of the Mineral County Senior Citizens.
Surviving are one son, Terry Hampton of Keyser; two sisters, Mary Lewis of Keyser and Edna Conners of Glen Burnie, MD; one granddaughter, Jessica Irene Ratcliffe and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, April 29 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Daryl M. Elliott officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
