Beverly Lee (Wiegand) Weimer, 62, of Fountainhead Drive, Keyser, WV, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Braddock Campus of the WMHS, Cumberland, MD, following an extended illness.
Born on August 31, 1945 at Cumberland, MD, she was a daughter of James W. Wiegand of Ridgeley, WV and the late Doris Mae (Mellotte) Wiegand.
Mrs. Weimer was a 1963 graduate of Fort Hill High School. Following graduation, she resided in California for many years, returning to West Virginia in the late 1980's and was employed at Allegany Ballistics Laboratory for five years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Assembly in Keyser and she greatly enjoyed the companionship of her two cats, "Bud" and "Petunia."
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her beloved husband of 18 years, Michael W. Weimer; one son, John R. Bell of Mt. View, CA; one brother, James R. Wiegand and wife Robin of Lonaconing, MD; two sisters, Shirley A. Bevan and husband Tom of Cottondale, FL and Mary M. Shepherd of New Castle, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, May 5 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Assembly, 29 Newton Street, Keyser, on Tuesday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donna Leatherman officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to either the Ladies Auxiliary of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Assembly, 29 Newton Street, Keyser, WV  26726 or to the American Cancer Society, 182 N. Mechanic Street, Cumberland, MD  21502.
