Dennis Stewart III
Dennis Melvin “Sparky” Stewart, III, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Maysville, WV as a result of an auto accident. Sparky was born on November 20, 1995 in Petersburg, WV, the son of Dennis Stewart, Jr. of Petersburg, WV and Diana Jean Smith Ours and Step-Father Jay Ours of Greenwood, DE. He loved riding dirt bikes, fishing, football and was a student at Petersburg High School.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is survived by: 2 Sisters, Brittany Smith of Sterling, VA, Melissa Stewart of Greenwood, DE; 2 Step-Sisters, Jeannie Funk Barracks of Alabama, Jacqueline Wimer of Petersburg; 1 Brother, Christopher Smith of Petersburg; 2 Step-Brothers, Coleton See of Greenwood, Gary Wimer, Jr. of Petersburg; Grandparents, Wanda Jean McCole of Winchester, VA, Billy Joe Smith of Fort Ashby, WV, Woody Riggleman of Petersburg and Step-Grandmother, Jean Funk of Moorefield. Sparky was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Barbara “Sissy” Eversole Stewart.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg. Rev. Joseph Eversole will officiate funeral services on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
Memorials may be made to Petersburg High School Sports Boosters Club.
