Arthur D. Dunlap
West Monroe, La. - Funeral services for Arthur David Dunlap, 76, of West Monroe, La., will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dale Farley officiating.
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.


Mr. Dunlap was born July 27, 1933, in Keyser, W.Va. He passed away at home on March 14, 2010, in West Monroe.
He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and served on their church council.  He served in the U.S. Air Force, was retired from Georgia Pacific as a chemical engineer and was a consulting engineer for many years.  He was a member of the American Chemical Society, the local archeology society and was also a third degree Mason of the Davis Lodge No.51 in Keyser.


Mr. Dunlap was preceded in death by his parents, William Ferdinand Dunlap and Alma Beatrice Snider Dunlap, both from Keyser.  The family also resided in Piedmont, W.Va., for many years, where William Dunlap was a barber at the Devon Club in Luke, Md.
Mr. Dunlap was survived by his wife, Patricia Dunlap, and her two children, Robert Cook and Seth Dunlap; also Wilma Dunlap and her three children, Patty Dunlap Musser and husband Brent, Art Dunlap and wife Janet, Linde Dunlap Yoeono and husband Michael. and eight very special grandchildren, Cody, Casey, David, Meagan, Danny, Eli, Violet, and Stella.
Pallbearers will be: Len Rhymes, Lee Graham, Robert Cook, Jr., Kristen Graham, Micheal Belay, Cody Musser and Brent Musser.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m.  Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
