Anna H. "Susie" See, 56, a resident of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, formerly of New Creek, WV and Moorefield, WV, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born on July 14, 1951 at Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of the late Hoy and Mary Catherine (Arbaugh) Wimer. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. See on February 29, 1992; an infant twin sister, Shirley Lee Wimer and a stepson, Clarence G. See, II.
Mrs. See was a homemaker and was a charter member of the New Creek Southern Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nancy Hanks Post # 3518, VFW, Keyser.
Surviving are her companion, Joseph A. Martin of New Creek; one daughter, Teresa Alt and husband Dale Alt, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; two grandsons, Jacob Alt and Dale Alt, III; four brothers, Orville Ray Wimer and wife Debbie and David Wimer and wife Frances, all of Moorefield, Tony Wimer and wife Sara of Maysville, WV and John Wimer and wife Missy of Mathias, WV; three sisters, Frances Wimer and husband Paul of Petersburg, WV, Brenda Sherman and husband Sam and Rita Strawderman and husband Kennie, all of Moorefield; two nieces and three nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, April 22 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Roatch officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
