Donald W. “Bones” Elliott SR, 79, of 115 Erin St, Piedmont, passed away Sunday July 20, 2008, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
 Born June 26, 1929 in Barton, MD, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Ethel Pearl (Smith) Elliott.  Two brothers, Allen Elliott and Warren Elliott, also preceded him in death.
  Mr. Elliott was a retired Auto Mechanic.  He was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Westernport, MD.
 He leaves behind his wife, Mary “Janet” (Parker) Elliott, three sons, John Elliott and wife Nancy of Grantsville, MD, Donald Elliott JR of Keyser, and Steven Elliott and wife Amy of Barton, MD.  He is also survived by a sister, Norma Kerling of Barton, MD, thirteen grandchildren, Christopher Elliott, Nichole Gring, Kelli Frantz, Ashley Elliott, Shana Paitzel, Michael Elliott, Joshua Elliott, Joseph Elliott, Joshua Creed Hinkle, Steven Elliott JR, Stacy Lynn Elliott, Katie “Bug” Elliott, and James William Elliott, and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Steffan Carr officiating.
 Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
