SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -

David Wayne Biser, 60, of Kirtland, NM, formerly of Shepherdstown, passed   away Aug. 14, 2008, in Farmington, NM, after a long battle with cancer.  
He was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Keyser, W.Va., to Ira Arthur Biser and Grace Alice Biser.  
He has more than 300 magazine articles in print and one book. He was a  contributing editor for the Varmint Hunter Magazine. For the past 23 years, David  was a chemist for Arizona Public Service Four Corners Power Plant in Fruitland.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Biser; his mother, Grace Alice (Lyons) Biser; his brother, Richard Biser; sisters, Odessa (Biser) Thrush, Fuchsya (Biser) O'Rear and Elfreda (Biser) Berry.  
David is survived by his wife, Beth of Kirtland; son, James (Debra) Biser of Provo, Utah; daughter, Jennifer (Sam) Anderson of Sparks, Nev.; grandchildren, Connor and Nyah Biser of Provo, Utah; Gabriel, Seth and John Anderson of Sparks, Nev.; sister, Norma Lee Smith of Cumberland, Md., and numerous nieces and  nephews.
