VIRGINIA L. “JENNY” SHILLINGBURG
Rawlings, Md. — Virginia Lee “Jenny” Shillingburg, 65, of Rawlings, went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2010.
She was the daughter of Pete Armentrout and the late Billie Irene Armentrout.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Angela and father-in-law Joseph Shillingburg, her mother Billie Irene Armentrout and her son Tom Shillingburg.
“Jenny” is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 46 years, Jim Shillingburg, her children, Pete Shillingburg and wife Jan of Rawlings, Jodie Armentrout and husband Rob of Carpendale, WV, Billie Jo Shillingburg and fiancé James Robertson of Keyser, WV, Rusty Shillingburg and wife Tara of Barton, seven grandchildren, Jamie and wife Jen Shillingburg, Blake Shillingburg, Jennifer, Brittany and Brett Armentrout, Megan Duvall and Hunter Shillingburg, one great granddaughter, Lexi Shillingburg, her sisters, Betty Morton and husband Jim, Carol Kenney and husband Tom, a brother, Butch Armentrout, a half brother, Bobby Braithwaite, her aunts and uncles, Jean and Bill Secrist, Ray and Peggy Maynard, Ralph and Sherry Maynard, Marshall Armentrout, Maxine Armentrout and Stella DiCheria.  She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Ann Laughlin, Janet Sullivan and husband Bill, Brenda Goodridge and husband Ed, Donna Stauss and special friend Bob, brother-in-laws, Bob Shillingburg and wife Karla, Joey Shillingburg and wife Gloria, and many nieces and nephews.
“Jenny” was Pentecostal by faith.  She enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband Jim and her family.  She enjoyed playing bingo and talking to her bingo buddies.  Anyone that has ever met “Jenny” fell in love with her sweet personality and her smile.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday August 15th from 2 to 4 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steffan Carr officiating.
