CRESAPTOWN, Md. - Destinee Lee (Eversole) Dawson, 44, of Cresaptown, Md., died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, Md.
Born on Jan. 7, 1966 at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of Leona F. (Crabtree) Eversole of Cresaptown and the late Harry L. "Buddy" Eversole. She also was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nellie Cooper; and all of her paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Destinee was a 1984 graduate of Keyser High School and was Pentecostal by faith.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Brandon Barnard and fiancée Mandy Lowery and Shayon Dawson, all of Rawlings, Md.; three daughters, Khiaya Dawson and Brianna Barnard, both of Cumberland, and Tasheena Barnard of Frostburg, Md.; two brothers, John "Buddy" Eversole of Rawlings and Robert "Butch" Slaughter III and wife Kelly of Thurmont, Md.; one sister, Dawn Iser and husband Steve of Rawlings; three grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. with Pastor Sherri Ziler officiating.
