92, of Keyser
Anna M. High, 92, of Purgitsville, WV, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Hampshire Center in Romney, WV.
Born on June 5, 1919 at Elk Garden, WV, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Altie (Bosley) Trenter. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles High in 1978; one brother, Arthur Trenter; two sisters, Faye Evans and Bernadine Morris and her special companion, Russell Burns.
Mrs. High was an active member of the Red Hat Ladies Society while residing at the Hampshire Center.
Surviving are one sister, Alice Koontz of Keyser; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Leatherman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
