ACCIDENT,Md. -

Stanley L. Miller, 77, of Accident, MD, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at WMHS-Braddock Campus, Cumberland.
Born May 22, 1930, in Black Oak, MD, he was the son of the late Cletus L. & Ella Mae (Lough) Miller.  He was preceded in death by two sons, David S. and Larry L.; one daughter, Cynthia Sue; one brother, Ernest; and one sister, Mary Ann Mongold.
Mr. Miller was a member of Glendale Assembly of God.  He volunteered at local nursing homes and day care centers, singing and playing his harmonica and sharing his faith.  He never met a stranger.
He was a retired maintenance worker for the Wisp Resort.
Surviving are his wife, A. Yvonne (House) Miller; one son, Paul J. and wife, Dorine, Chandler, AZ; two daughters, Regina J. Brenneman and husband, Richard, Accident; Linda G. Treasure and husband, Mark, LaVale; one sister, Evelyn Cowatch, Keyser, WV. He will be greatly missed by his ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren who loved him very much.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Highway, Accident, MD (McHenry) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Services will be conducted in Glendale Assembly of God on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Goldizen and the Rev. Gail Hixon officiating.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.  Interment will be in the Dawson Cemetery, Rawlings, MD.
