KEYSER—The second Maple Fest 5K Run will be held on Saturday, March 20 starting at 9:00 am at Keyser High School in conjunction with the Potomac Highlands Maple Festival.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Keyser High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams.
This is the second of the Queen City Striders circuit races for 2010.
The run will be on a circuit combining the roads and parking areas around the high school with flat and downhill sections of the cross country course.
The overall male and female winners will receive plaques.
Awards will go to the top three finishers in the following age groups for both men and women: 12 & under, 13 – 15, 16 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 & over.
Pre-race registration must be postmarked by March 15 to ensure on time delivery.
The entry fee for all entries is $15.
Race day sign-up will be from 7 to 8:45 a.m. at the Keyser High gym.
T-shirts will be guaranteed to the first 60 entrants.
