FORT JACKSON, S.C. and FORT HILL Okla. -

 Private Michael Dennis has graduated from three months of basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. and is now in advanced-infantry training at Fort Sill, Okla., as part of his enlistment in the Army National Guard.
The son of Pam and Norm Dennis of Keyser, the 2006 graduate of Union Educational Complex is enrolled at Potomac State College for the fall semester.

FORT HILL, Okla. —Army National Guard Pvt. Justin E. Puffinburger has graduated from Basic Combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.
Puffinburger is the son of Theresa and stepson of James Allen of Highway Contract Route 72, Keyser, W.Va In 2006, the private graduated from Keyser High School.
