Steve Oberlechner has been named to the faculty at Potomac State College of West Virginia University (WVU) as an instructor in English. 
Oberlechner earned his master’s in fine arts degree in creative writing (fiction) from WVU and his bachelor’s degree in English from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He previously served as a visiting lecturer at WVU and as an instructor at Pierpont Community College in Fairmont, W.Va.
Oberlechner has been published in The Gettysburg Review and The Cortland Review. He also served as an assistant editor for Duquesne Magazine.
Oberlechner has been the recipient of numerous scholarships, attended writers’ workshops, is a member of Phi Delta Kappa and has given presentations in classroom settings.
