CAPON BRIDGE — Howard County police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a man accused of sexually abusing a child. 
George Nicholas Kiriacon, 50, of 10647 Whiterock Court in Laurel, Md., is wanted for the sexual abuse of a family friend over a period of four years, from the time the boy was 8 years old. 
Kiriacon also owns a home in Capon Bridge, W. Va., and is known to frequent that area.
The boy reported to police that he and Kiriacon had engaged in various sexual acts at Kiriacon’s residence.  Kiriacon has been charged with child sexual abuse, three counts of second-degree sex offenses, two counts of third-degree sex offenses and displaying obscene materials to a minor.
Police are trying to locate Kiriacon and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact police at (410) 313-3200.  He was last seen driving a Gold 2005 Chevy pick-up truck with Maryland license plate 66P223.  Investigators are offering a reward up to $1,000 for information.
Detectives are investigating whether Kiriacon may have victimized other children and are asking any other possible victims to come forward.
