Two Potomac State College students were not injured in a one vehicle accident on Hartmansville Road, near Elk Garden last week.
Elk District Volunteer Fire Company was alerted at 11 p.m. to the scene, about 1.5 miles off of Route 50, where Eric Custer, driver of the vehicle, and passenger Ashley Kisamore, were rounding a turn in the road when the late model pickup truck slid and turned onto its side.
WV State Police Corporal H.C. Myers, investigating officer, stated that due to the rain conditions in the area, a slippery road could have been a factor in the accident.
Also responding was the Elk District Ambulance Service, but no transports of patients were necessary.
