Silent Auction being held to Benefit Potomac State

KEYSER, W.Va. -

The Potomac State College of West Virginia University Alumni Association will hold a silent auction during the College’s Homecoming on Saturday, October 18, 2008.  All funds raised will finance the publishing of the bi-annual alumni newsletters.
The auction will be held in the top floor of the Student Union. Bidding will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  This event is open to the general public and winners can pick up their items at 4:30 p.m.  If unable to be present at that time, arrangements can be made to pick up your items within one week of the event by contacting the Alumni Office at 304-788-6870. 
A sampling of items to be auctioned off include a BBQ tool set, a dinnerware set, children’s DVDs and books, a Homedics rock garden, a floral arrangement, and two original paintings by  Alumnus Ed Egan, Class of 1954.
